Impact of the Martyrdom of Imam Hussain (Alayhis Asalam)

‘Blood rained from the sky when the Shahaadah of Imaam Hussain took place’

It is reported that when Imam al-Hussain was killed, the sky rained down blood. (Nadra al-Azdiya, a woman who was contemporary with Imam al – Hussain (AS), is said to have reported: “When al-Hussain b. ‘Ali was killed, the sky rained down blood, so that next morning we found our wells and water jugs filled with it.” This hadith is narrated by Ibn Hajar. )

Ummul Fadhl the daughter of al-Harith said that she entered on the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and she said: “Oh! Messenger of Allah, I saw a strange dream last night. He said: And what is it? She said: It was difficult. He said: And what is it? She said: I saw, as if, a piece of your body was severed and was put in my lap! The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: You saw well – Fatima will give birth, God willing, a boy so he will be in your lap. Then Fatima gave birth to al-Hussain and he was in my lap – just as the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said. So I entered one day on the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and put him in his lap, but I noticed that the eyes of the Messenger of Allah (SAW) pouring tears! So I said: Oh! Prophet of Allah, my parents are your ransom, what is with you? He said: Gabriel (AS) came to me and informed me that my nation (ummah) will kill this son of mine.” (al-Mustadrak al-Sahih, al-Hafidh al-Hakim al-Nisapouri, v. 3, p. 176, (al-Hakim said: “This is an authentic hadith (Sahih) on the conditions of Bukhari and Muslim but they did not print it”); Dalael al-Nubouwa, al-Hafidh al-Bayhaqi under the subject of al-Hussain (AS); Cf. Ibn al-A’tham IV, (Hyderabad, 1971), p. 211-2, the author narrates this hadith using a different chain of narration).

The betrayal of suicide bombers

Getting to heaven is tough work, and it requires a lifetime of struggle against human weakness and temptation (along with God’s grace), not the press of a button on a suicide belt.

Suicide terrorism is a relatively new phenomenon. Although most commonly associated with Muslims, it has been well documented that many non-Muslim terrorist groups have utilized the tactic of the suicide attack. Still, it is hard for most people – including the author – to understand how someone could resolve to strap a bomb on his chest and detonate it among innocent people in order to commit mass murder. For the terrorists of the Muslim flavor, they justify such action by claiming that being a suicide bomber is an act of “holy war,” and in traditional Muslim theology, the one who dies in “holy war” will become a martyr that instantly goes to Heaven.

I have thought long and hard over their religious justifications. They make absolutely no sense. Read the rest of this entry »

Pir Saqib al Shami Sahib on Extremists

Pir Saqib al Shami Chisti Sahib are one of the greatest upcoming Scholars in Islam. Alhamdulillah, he clearly shows that the majority of Muslims (Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamma’ah) are peaceful, and he even challenges any extremist to come and debate with him or any other eminent scholar of the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamma’ah.

However, like always, speeches about peace by Muslim Scholars are not given a single bit of exposure by the big media organisations.

Why didn’t the mass media mention Shaykh Hisham Kabbani’s meetings with senior UK government officials to bring about some sort of understanding between the Muslims and the rest of society?

Why didn’t they mentions or show anything when Shaykh Hisham Kabbani’ and his Students did Dhikr infront of some of the UK MPs?

Does Rasool’Allah (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassalam) have a shadow?

We are living in a world of uncertainty and misconceptions. Man is beginning to question the very roots of his beliefs- Allah Almighty and the Holy Prophet Sall Allahu alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallim, to create doubt in the minds of the simple and un suspecting Muslims. Some so-called scholars, not so long ago began a shocking campaign against the flawless personality of Allah Almighty in the form of ‘the possibility of telling a lie ‘ ; which plunged the Muslim world into utter disbelief and shock. This misguided man wrote: “Allah has power over everything. Thus if He so wishes , He can utter a lie” (Allah Forbid). It is true, when Allah Almighty wants to destroy a person, He first takes away his sanity. This religious heretic conveniently forgot the Quranic verse: “Curse of Allah be upon the liars”. Will Allah Almighty indulge in an activity which He himself has condemned? Unfortuantely, instead of dismissing this lie with the contempt that it deserves, many Muslims became the followers and disciples of this lunatic. Read the rest of this entry »
